Spooktacular Fun at BMW of Wichita: A Memorable Halloween Weekend
On Saturday, October 21st, Wichita saw its last warm weekend of the season, and we at Walser Auto Campus seized the opportunity to make it truly special. Our campus came alive with the laughter and excitement of children dressed as their wildest dreams, from dinosaurs to witches, princesses to Mario, it was a sight to behold.
But the magic didn’t stop there. Walser Auto Campus joined forces with various community organizations that we’ve been proud to partner with
throughout the year. Together, we created a display of our wildest dreams in the form of a Trunk or Treat event. Each display was a unique and ingenious masterpiece in its own right.
Our partners in this spooktacular endeavor included Exploration Place, WPD, Kansas Food Bank, Kansas Humane Society, Prairie View, Beauties and Beasts, Inc., Bobbie Lane Keller Williams Signature Partners, BW & Associates LLC with KW Signature Partners LLC, and Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Kansas.
The creativity and effort put into these displays were simply remarkable. While we cherished them all, we had the tough task of selecting the top three prize-winning efforts. First prize, $1000, went to a wild and imaginative display from the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Kansas. Second prize, $500, was awarded to an E.T.-inspired display by BMW/MINI of Wichita, who donated their prize to the Kansas Humane Society. Last but certainly not least, the third prize of $250 went to a spine-tinglingly spooky doll display by the Andover Wolfpack Baseball Team.
But the true stars of the day were the several hundred children who eagerly clamored through our campus, gathering candy and prizes by the fistful. They also enjoyed taking pictures in our Halloween-themed photo booth and even got to vote for their favorite trunk decor. In total, we distributed over 15,000 pieces of candy, and as we all know, kids absolutely adore candy!
It was a day filled with laughter, creativity, and a strong sense of community. Walser Auto Campus is proud to have hosted this fantastic Halloween event, and we can’t wait for more spooktacular moments like these in the future. Thank you to everyone who made this day a memorable success!
