BMW of Wichita Sponsors Zoobilee at Sedgwick County Zoo: A Night of Fun, Food, and Community

September 9th, 2024 by

This past Saturday, BMW of Wichita was proud to be a sponsor of Zoobilee at the Sedgwick County Zoo, and what an incredible evening it was! The event drew a fantastic crowd, all coming together to support the Zoo’s vital efforts in conservation, education, and animal care. The turnout was a true reflection of how much our community values this beloved local treasure, and we were thrilled to be part of such an impactful night.

The Food
Zoobilee was a food lover’s dream. More than 60 local establishments showcased their best bites, offering everything from gourmet dishes to savory snacks. Guests could sample a variety of foods, and there was something for everyone, including options for those with dietary restrictions. It was a great way to highlight some of the best dining experiences Wichita has to offer, encouraging guests to continue supporting these businesses long after the event.

The Drinks
Throughout the zoo, open bars, tasting stations, and a lively beer garden kept the refreshments flowing. Whether you were in the mood for a craft beer, a cocktail, or something non-alcoholic, Zoobilee had it all covered.

The Music
The event was filled with music, with local bands playing across the Zoo, creating an energetic and fun atmosphere. Performers like Makayla Brownlee, Tequila Ridge, Money Shot, Eclectix, Jake Burke, and Foolish Endeavors entertained guests with their unique sounds. As the night came to a close, Jared Brown and the Dirt Road Misfits took the main stage at 8:30 p.m., delivering a show-stopping performance that had everyone dancing.

The Shopping
Zoobilee also featured one of Wichita’s largest silent auctions, with hundreds of items up for bid. From jewelry and art to spa packages and vacations, there was something for everyone to get excited about. The auction provided an opportunity for guests to shop for a good cause, knowing their bids would support the Zoo’s future initiatives.

Overall, Zoobilee was a huge success, bringing together the best of Wichita’s food, drink, music, and community spirit. BMW of Wichita is honored to have been part of this fantastic event, and we’re already looking forward to next year!

We want to extend a big thank you to everyone who came out and made the evening so special. Your support helps make a difference in the lives of the animals at the Sedgwick County Zoo and the important work they do year-round. See you at the next event!
